5 More Websites To Add Unique Elements & Inspire Your Next Project

Ready for a new round of design tools that can level up your creative game? No matter what your career is, finding the right resources can save time and keep your work fresh. Here are five more websites that bring unique elements like custom animations, color-matching exercises, and modern mockups to make any project stand out.

1. Footer Design (footer.design)

Footers might not be the first thing you think of when designing a website, but they can make a lasting impact or help navigate a new user to your site. Footer Design has endless inspiration for footers of all styles—from dark and light themes to illustrations and minimalist designs. Explore different options to add that perfect finishing touch. I use footer.design to help me with finding themes, and styles to inspire my entire projects as well.

2. Space Type Generator (spacetypegenerator.com)

For those looking to add some movement to text, Space Type Generator is a must. It’s a kinetic text tool that lets you create animated text compositions with customizable fonts, colors, and effects. It’s perfect for giving your typography a creative edge without needing complex software. There is a bar in the top right to change the style; they have over 20 different animations that are entirely customizable. You are also able to export these as GIFs, which are great to use online and on other digital platforms.

3. Color Method (color.method.ac)

Do you think you are good with matching colors? Color Method is a fun way to sharpen those skills, offering different levels of color-matching exercises from hues, saturation, and even analogous pairing. It’s a great tool for anyone wanting to improve their eye for color harmony, making it useful for both beginners and experienced designers.

4. Hazard Mockups (hazardmockups.com)

Modern, realistic, and completely free (if you go to the freebies page), Hazard Mockups has a great selection of mockups that are perfect for portfolios and presentations. They’re clean, current, and professional—ideal for anyone who wants to make a solid impression without spending hours on setup. Some of the discounted or premium mockups are also at a good rate for the quality, so it's a win-win either way.

5. Jitter (jitter.video)

Motion design doesn’t have to be complicated, unless you want it to be. Jitter is a free animation tool that makes it easy to create motion graphics without heavy software. There is a paywall for some of the website's capabilities, but for what they offer for free, I have been able to use in video editing and even web development. It’s a great way to experiment with animations and bring your designs to life without a steep learning curve.
